An Ivalua team led by Seb Troz

When one consultant is not enough, I put together an Ivalua team from my network of about ten certified techno-functional consultants. You get delivery capacity with one lead accountable to you, and that lead is me.

What is an Ivalua team led by Seb Troz?

A team of certified techno-functional Ivalua consultants, drawn from my network and sized to your scope, with me as the lead. You deal with one person who answers for the plan, the quality of what is delivered and the reporting to your steering committee.

  • The consultants: chosen from about ten certified techno-functional Ivalua consultants I can call on, for the profiles your scope needs.
  • The lead: me, on the project, not above it: design reviews, configuration choices, SQL and interfaces, planning and reporting.
  • Presented to you directly: you see each profile and role in the proposal before anyone starts.

When does a led team fit better than a large integrator?

It is a question of the shape of the work, not a verdict on integrators. A team led by me fits when:

  • The scope needs a handful of senior Ivalua profiles rather than a large staffed programme.
  • You want to talk to the person who designs the solution and checks the configuration.
  • You already have an integrator or an internal team and need added Ivalua capacity under one lead.

As a rule of thumb, a large integrator is the better choice when the programme needs more people than my network can provide, when you need one contract covering services beyond Ivalua, or when your purchasing rules require a firm of a given size.

How does the team get started?

  1. You describe the scope and your planning, by booking a call or by email.
  2. I work out the profiles the scope needs and how many.
  3. I send a written proposal: the team, each person's role and profile, the duration and the day rates.
  4. We agree the governance (reporting, steering committee, the tools) and the team starts under my lead.

How is an Ivalua team priced?

Each consultant is billed on a day rate, quoted on request in the written proposal, once the scope and the duration are clear.

Frequently asked questions

Are the consultants certified on Ivalua?

Yes. The network I draw on is about ten certified techno-functional Ivalua consultants. The proposal gives each person's profile and role, so you know who works on your project before the team starts.

How large can the team be?

My network counts about ten certified consultants, so a team goes from one or two people up to about that size. A programme that needs more people than that is better served by a larger firm, and I will say so in the first call.

Can the team work alongside our integrator?

Yes. The team can take a workstream or add Ivalua capacity next to an integrator or an internal team, with me as the single lead for that part of the work.

Who is accountable for what the team delivers?

I am. One lead answers to you for the plan, the quality of the delivery and the reporting to your steering committee, and I work on the project with the team rather than above it.

30 minutes. Your project, my honest read.

Tell me where the programme stands. You leave the call with a view on risk and the next step, whether or not we work together.
